Privacy Policy

Sunday Setup exists to help church teams get ready for services. This policy explains what we collect and why, in plain language.

What we collect

Account basics: your name and email address, so your team knows who checked what.

Activity in the app: checklist completions, issues you report, comments, photos you upload, and when you last opened the app (used only to skip sending you a reminder you don't need).

Planning Center data:if your church connects Planning Center, we sync service types, plans, times, and who's scheduled, and match scheduled people to app accounts by email. Connection credentials are encrypted at rest. We never write back to Planning Center.

Device reminders: if you turn on push reminders, we store a push subscription for that device. Turn it off any time in Notifications.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, show ads, or use your church's data for anything other than running the service. Your data is visible only to your own church's team, enforced at the database level.

Who processes data for us

We run on trusted infrastructure providers: Supabase (database, auth, and file storage), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (email delivery). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.

Retention and deletion

Service history sticks around so your team can see what broke and whether it got fixed. If you leave a team, your account can be removed by a church admin; attributed history (“who completed what”) is kept for the church's records. If your church closes its account, we delete the church's data after a reasonable wind-down period.

Children

Sunday Setup is for church volunteers and staff. It isn't intended for children under 13, and churches are responsible for following their own policies (and parental consent practices) when adding students to serving teams.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before the change applies.
